The staffing model

A focused partnership with flexible cart support.

Our mission

“To be the trusted standard for on-course beverage service—supplying golf courses with reliable, professional attendants so every round is memorable and no revenue goes unserved.”

Fairway Pour Co. is a staffing partner—not a beverage concessionaire. We provide the people who operate the beverage cart and, when needed, can provide the cart itself. Your course keeps control of inventory, pricing, payment systems and its alcohol license.

Whether you already own a cart or need a ready-to-serve option, we build the operating plan around your course. That removes the recurring work of finding, preparing and scheduling dependable attendants—and the equipment barrier for courses without a cart on site.

Fairway Pour Co. provides

Attendant recruiting, screening, onboarding, RBS certification, service training, scheduling, day-of coordination and an optional beverage cart when requested.

Your course provides

Products, ice and supplies, point-of-sale access, operating rules, inventory controls, site orientation and a suitable staging and charging or fueling arrangement. If you already have a cart, we can operate it.

Core services

Coverage built around how your course operates.

Every engagement starts with your tee sheet, service standards and busiest windows. We then build a practical staffing plan around the times on-course beverage service matters most.

01

Recurring cart staffing

Scheduled attendants for regular weekday or weekend service, with coverage aligned to your anticipated play and operating hours.

02

Optional beverage cart

No cart on site? We can provide one with your staffing plan, subject to availability, course access and agreed storage or transport logistics.

03

Peak-period support

Additional staffing for high-volume weekends, seasonal demand, leagues, member-guest play or gaps in your in-house schedule.

04

Tournaments & events

Pre-planned staffing—and a cart if needed—for shotgun starts, charity tournaments, corporate outings and other important dates.

Recruiting and screening

We source attendants for hospitality, reliability and professional communication—not simply cart-driving experience.

Training and preparation

Attendants are prepared on responsible alcohol service, guest interaction, course etiquette, route awareness and your site rules.

Scheduling and coordination

You receive one point of contact for shift planning, confirmations and changes instead of managing each attendant separately.

Cart planning

We confirm whether your cart or ours will be used, along with staging, charging or fueling, storage, access and daily setup before launch.

Responsible service

RBS-certified before the first alcohol-service shift.

California Responsible Beverage Service training gives attendants a consistent foundation for lawful, responsible alcohol service. Fairway Pour Co. makes current RBS certification a readiness requirement for attendants assigned to alcohol service.

  • 01
    Age verification

Training covers checking identification and recognizing valid forms of ID.

  • 02
    Responsible service decisions

Attendants learn to recognize signs of intoxication and when service should be slowed or refused.

  • 03
    Course procedures still lead

RBS training complements—not replaces—the course’s ABC license, operating policies and manager oversight.

30-day pilot

Prove the fit before expanding.

A focused pilot lets your course evaluate reliability, guest response and operational fit without starting with a long rollout. Scope, schedule and pricing are agreed in writing before the first shift.

Before launch

We define the operating plan together.

  1. 1
    Course walkthrough

Review the route, restock point, point-of-sale process and service boundaries, then confirm whether your cart or ours will be used.

  2. 2
    Set the schedule

Choose the 30-day service window, priority days, shift lengths and expected volume.

  3. 3
    Document standards

Confirm cart staging, uniform, check-in, cash-handling, inventory, alcohol-service and closing procedures.

During the pilot

Your team gets a clear view of performance.

  1. 1
    Consistent staffing

Attendants arrive prepared for the agreed shifts and course-specific process.

  2. 2
    Regular check-ins

We stay in touch with the designated course manager and address operational feedback.

  3. 3
    End-of-pilot review

Together, we assess coverage, service quality and whether recurring staffing makes sense.

Tournament coverage

Event days deserve a staffing plan of their own.

Shotgun starts and full-field outings compress demand into a short window. We coordinate with your tournament or food-and-beverage lead in advance so attendants understand guest count, cart routes, product handoffs and the event schedule. If your course does not have a beverage cart, ask about adding ours to the event plan.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before the first shift.

Every course is different. These are the fundamentals; the final scope is documented in your service agreement.

Does Fairway Pour Co. provide the cart and beverages?

We provide the trained attendant and can also provide a beverage cart when your course needs one. The course supplies and controls all beverages, ice, serving supplies, pricing, inventory and point-of-sale access. Cart availability, transport or on-site storage, charging or fueling and the daily fee are confirmed in the service agreement.

Can you operate a cart our course already owns?

Yes. If your course already has a beverage cart, we can staff and operate it within your procedures. If not, ask us to include a Fairway Pour Co. cart in the staffing plan.

Who holds the alcohol license?

The course retains control of alcohol purchasing and sales under its own applicable ABC license and policies. Fairway Pour Co. does not purchase or resell alcohol under this staffing model.

Are attendants RBS-certified?

Yes. Attendants assigned to alcohol service are required to hold current California RBS certification before their first alcohol-service shift. They also receive preparation on guest service and course-specific procedures.

Can you cover one tournament without a recurring contract?

Yes. One-day tournament and special-event coverage is available based on staffing availability, lead time, event scope and location.

What happens after the 30-day pilot?

We review the agreed measures with your course—such as coverage reliability, service quality and operational fit. If the partnership is working, we can propose an ongoing schedule. There is no automatic expansion beyond the written agreement.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is quoted from the number of attendants, shift length, schedule frequency, event complexity, travel, course-specific requirements and whether a Fairway Pour Co. cart is included. Contact us with your typical service window and cart needs for a tailored conversation.

Can Fairway Pour Co. work alongside our current staff?

Yes. We can supplement an existing team for peak days, planned absences, tournaments or seasonal gaps. The operating plan identifies who manages each part of the shift.
